It has long since Huawei manufactures beautiful, stylish, and trendy phones. Outside of some aesthetic decisions that we didn’t like too much, it has a design that is pleasing to the eye. It is made of glass on the back, while on the sides we find aluminum. Although the main photo module has generous dimensions, it does not lose refinement or elegance. It is clearly not a small phone, plus it will have to be held firmly as it is slightly slippery. Nothing that is not solved with a cover.
Screen
The curved screen of the Huawei P40 Pro gives it that touch of sophistication that has long been installed in the high-end Android range. Samsung started the trend several years ago and was subsequently successfully adopted by other manufacturers. It is high-end and the screen is up to par, finding a 6.58-inch OLED panel with a resolution of 1080 × 2640 pixels and a refresh rate of 90 Hz. Fairly correct to enjoy multimedia content, productivity tasks, and the gamer experience.
Performance
If we forget that we find more and more options with 12 GB of RAM in the high range, the Huawei P40 Pro offers plenty of performance for any task. Most users will have no problem exceeding the day of use and arriving with enough time to charge at night. Disadvantages
Aesthetic details
Let’s be honest. We didn’t like the double-perforation solution on the front to house the selfie photo hardware. We feel that it is too invasive and even less discreet than most notches. Although we will get used to its use after a few days, the truth is that there will be times when we will wish that gigantic bar is not there.
Others
We have to mention it, although a lot has been said about it for a couple of years on all Huawei phones. We do not have Google services, an aspect that you should consider due to its impact on daily functionality. The reality is that Huawei Mobile Services are still quite a long way from meeting our expectations.
Also, there will be those who miss the 3.5mm jack, while we still find room for improvement in the listening experience.
