Recently we reviewed the Acer Predator Triton 700, the most innovative notebook we’ve seen in a long time!

You will remember, we reviewed Acer’s X27 monitor last month, and it was a model that went on the edge in terms of innovation. Forget everything you see, because this time the product we see includes some of the most “weird” innovations you have seen when it comes to laptops. As you can see on the Youtube channel of our sister magazine LEVEL, Predator Triton 700, which was among the models we had the opportunity to try during the IgroMir 2018 event, was by far the most striking product.

Because the GTX 1080, which managed to fit into the 18.9mm thin and 2.4kg case with MaxQ ingenuity. Do you want a graphics card, the virtual sound system behind Dolby Atmos, or the unusual design that we’ve never seen before, reversing the places of touchpad and keyboard that are etched in our lives?

The Triton 700

Which has a 15.6 inch 120Hz IPS display that supports 1080p resolution, of course also has G-Sync support. In this way, whether VSync is turned on or not, it is possible to have a high-level gaming experience without screen breaks. Although the mechanical keyboard on the front shows high performance in games, on the other hand, it is not very comfortable while typing due to its low key height, high grip point, and of course its innovative position. Let us also point out that the keyboard is RGB supported.

The touchpad,

Which is the trademark of the product, does not have a customary location. The touchpad on the back of the body is highly innovative and the area is quite large. Although it is extremely sensitive, we can say that the presence of the graphics card in this section is the guarantee that your fingers will not get cold. The fan in this transparent section is illuminated and although there is not very strong lighting, it is very pleasant to the eye in a dim environment.

On the processor side, Intel Core i7-7700HQ is preferred. This processor and Intel HM175 motherboard will be updated in the upcoming period, but as you know, they already have extremely good performance values.

Triton 700 offers 8, 16, and 32GB DDR4 – 2400MHz RAM options. Of course, you can choose within your needs and budget. The part that will impress the players the most is the monster in this slim case, namely the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 MaxQ (8GB) graphics card. It sounds incredible that this card, which is guaranteed high performance in all games that are on the market today and will be released shortly, finds a place for itself in such a thin and light machine. But the truth is that this monster lies in this vault, guys. Undoubtedly, you provide top-level performance in games, but I have to say that the cooling system works quite loud in Turbo mode.
